What is the best headphones for travel by plane? Bose Qc2 or Etymotic in ear design?

I've read mixed reviews of Bose QC2 headphones regarding the sound quality and price value, and great reviews of Etymotic in-ear headphone design. I would like to know one stand point of comfort and sound quality which are the best headphones for travel especially air transport.

It is a matter of preference, really. If you like in the ears, I have heard that Etymotic is good. Personally Shure headphones as E4C. They are very comfortable and have very high quality drivers. They are very comfortable for long trips. A major differences in the two types (except in-ear/over-ear) is the way to deal with ambient sound. In-ear headphones are sound isolating.
