Speaker Impedance?

Hello,

Just wondering if it is safe to hook up my Logitech X-230 speakers to a DAC/Amp that I had purchased.

The USB DAC/AMP that I bought was actually meant for headphones, and there is a warning saying not to use headphones with less than 30 ohm impedance on it.

I'm just wondering how that translates to speakers? The only info I could find on my speakers were the following, and I have no idea what it means.

Total RMS Power: 32 Watts
Subwoofer: 20 Watts RNS ibto 4 ohms at 100Hz at 10% THD (total harmonic distortion)
Sattelites: 12 RMS (2x6w) ubti 4 ohms at 1 KHz at 10$ THD.

It is the Logitech x-230, with 2 speakers and a sub. It has its own power cord hooked up to a power outlet. The DAC/Amp I have is the HotAudio USB1.

So would it be safe for me to hook it up to the DAC/Amp? How do I determine if the speakers have an impedance of 30ohms or more?

Thanks!

Your speakers impedance is 4ohms as you stated. I don't think it is a good idea to plug these speakers into the Amp...since you might blow the Amp.
