There are many people who would like to play the piano in his home there. However, traditional acoustic pianos offer many drawbacks. They are big, heavy, expensive and they go out of tune. Instead of an acoustic piano, an alternative Clearly it would be to get a digital piano. They offer none of these drawbacks plus they have additional features such as more than a ton piano and headphone sockets for silent practice.
If you are a beginner, then there are two candidates visible from which to choose. They are the Casio CDP-100 and Yamaha NP-30. In this article I set out to explain differences their pros and cons of enabling you to make a better informed decision should you wish to buy one.
Keyboard
A standard modern piano keyboard has 88 keys (ie 7 octaves). CDP-100 has 88 weighted keys scaled hammer action and NP-30 has only 76 keys with graded soft touch (lower keys are heavy; higher keys are easy). The general consensus of opinion among the players is that Casio offers the most realistic action and is closer to the actual feel of playing a real piano.
Sound
CDP-100 There are 5 different piano tones board while NP-30 has 10. Both are capable of producing a real grand piano sound from one of these tones. Except the CDP-100 demo has 5 songs and NP-30 has 10. These songs are ideal for playing along in order to gain practice. CDP-100 has a 2x 8W speaker system while the NP-30 has 2x 6W. Despite the NP-30 is regarded as producing sound a little better quality from its speakers.
Portability and Construction
Both these instruments are extremely mobile because of their easy though CDP-100 is physically a little larger because of its keyboard great. Aesthetically they both look very attractive. CDP-100 is finished in black / gray and NP-30 is available either at the end black or silver. In addition CDP-100 is available with a matching stand which can make looks more attractive in your home.
Conclusion
Any of these keyboards you decide to buy one thing you will get is fantastic value for money. However, the one you choose will be one that fits the requirements your best. In favor of the CDP-100 is 88 note keyboard with its superior realism and feel. On the other hand, 30-more offers NP board piano tones and songs, and sound output quality is better.
CDP-100 is significantly expensive than the NP-30 by a factor of approximately 50%. However, NP-30 does not actually claim to be a digital piano (Yamaha keyboard refer to it as numbers in its marketing material, probably due to less skilled keyboard). If you're really after a replacement acoustic piano then CDP-100 can be a better choice.
