Earphones Noise Cancelling Volume Control
Does anyone own Zagg SmartBuds? I need some info?

They seem at a reasonable price for earphones that cost 80$ and I am getting a discount from entering their contest.
How good is the noise cancelling on them?
Can I hear people or are they completely silent when I have them on?
I know that the volume slider is in-line and does not control the iPod volume but how good it is?
I get the feeling that it might not be that good and distort the sound a bit.
Are they comfortable?
I don't usually like wearing in-ear phones, but if the sound is good I won't mind.

Hi,
I just bought my Zagg Smartbuds two weeks ago to use with my Apple Ipod Touch 4th generation (the new one with the camera). I was a little leery at first because I did not know if the controls would work with my Ipod at all. However, I was pleasantly surprised that they worked perfectly. First thing is the volume control slider does not change the volume of your device. It changes the volume of the headphones them-self, which I prefer anyway (excellent sound quality by the way). Second thing, the little nub part that goes into your ear is slightly curved and comes with 2 additional size silicone ear buds. The standard out of the box ear buds were too big for my ears, so I switched them for a smaller one and they fit so much better. When I push the ear buds all the way into my ears while listening to music, it does have the isolation effect, which can be very dangerous because you will not be able to hear much outside of the music that you are listening to. (it's like the sensation of clogging a hole) So I try not to push them in too far.
There is also a button on the volume controller that can start and stop the music that you are listening to (I believe this was meant for picking up and hanging up calls if you have a smartphone). Funny enough this button also acts as the voice command controller for your music. All in all this headphone for me was worth the money I paid for it. It does everything that the Apple In-Ear Headphones with Remote and Mic does only better, with Zagg Cord coated in Invisible-SHIELD, a color to chose from other than white and an easier safer more convenient way to wear my headphones, I am so glad I decided to bite the bullet and buy the Smartbuds. Hell, having a Zagg 50% off code didn't hurt either.
