Which of these noise-rejecting headphones are better?
Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7 Bose Quiet Comfort 3 Panasonic RP-HC500 Sanheiser PXC 450 and any others I may have missed. Why do you think you have chosen is good? Thank you!
I have experience with all the above except Panasonic model, and I must say without doubt 450s Sennheiser PXC are for me, only better. They may look abit chunky, and may be a bit short on bass, but for noise cancellation, they're awesome. I've used those for both studio and limited monitoring requirements to live a healthy and they are great. They are pricey though. Technicas audio are excellent all rounders, and they are heaps less expensive when compared with sennheisers. Reduction of noise is not as good, but its comparable to the PXC 450. Unfortunately the sound tends to leak from the sides in higher levels of what I found. So if thats an issue for you, give them a pass. I've used only Bose Quiet Comfort 3s a times, there has been a very good experience with his predecessors, calm Comfort 2. They canceled noise well, but the main thing Keep Quiet Comfort 3s mind about is bass. If you want bass, go for the quiet comforts. If you want good noise cancellation, go to sennheisers. If you are abit more budget, get Technicas Audio. (And just because they are free does not mean they that run all or worse!)
